Your Help and Assistance, Please!

The Society holds a large collection of photographs, memorabilia and small objects associated with Finedon.  These illustrate the industries, churches, schools, historical buildings, sporting activities, clubs and the many social activities enjoyed by the people who have lived and worked in Finedon.
Memories, documents and photographs are at the heart of our work and we would value the opportunity to make a copy (by scanning or photographing) any items you may wish to provide.
We are also pleased to accept any small items donated by the public but we regret that we do not have the storage capability to care for larger items.
To give some examples of how you might be able to help us:
  • Photographs you may have of Finedon: street scenes, the townsfolk, events and special occasions.
  • Do you have school class photographs which we dont already have?
  • Any old bills on "headed invoices" tucked away in the back of drawer from shops or companies
            no longer trading in Finedon.
  • Anything you may think will be interesting......!!
If you have any interesting items and are prepared to share them with us then please contact the Society by our contact page.  If you live locally, call in for a chat at the Friends' Misson House on a Tuesday morning between 10am and 12am you will be made most welcome.
Thank you
